I remembered when I was little my grandfather used to take me to this place called Ang Hoay Loh to eat. Now after so many years, this place has a branch (or that they have moved?) at the State Chinese (Penang) Association in Perak Road.
Very nice shaded place but very limited tables. Lots of parking space though.
Here are some of their famous dishes ...
.
Bak Kee Soup. Nice but a little too oily for me.
Prawn fritters
Char Tang Hoon
Oh Chein
Sambal Kangkung
Duckie's Comments - Food is good, but this place only opens for lunch so get there early or you might not get a place to sit.
